About Dr. Christine
As a licensed therapist with a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy, I offer a collaborative, affirming, and compassionate space where you can explore your story, navigate life’s challenges, and move toward healing, growth, and resilience. I believe therapy works best when it is rooted in trust, curiosity, respect, and the understanding that you are the expert on your own life.
My approach is deeply influenced by social justice principles and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. I honor the full complexity of who you are, including your identity, culture, relationships, personal history, and lived experiences. I recognize that mental health and healing are shaped not only by individual experiences, but also by family systems, communities, culture, relationships, and larger social contexts.
My clinical work is grounded in Collaborative Language Systems Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Through Collaborative Language Systems Therapy, I focus on the power of dialogue, language, and relationship in creating new possibilities for understanding and change. Through Narrative Therapy, we can explore the stories that have shaped your life, identify narratives that may feel limiting, and make space for preferred stories rooted in your values, strengths, and hopes.
With doctoral-level training in Marriage and Family Therapy and experience providing culturally responsive therapy, I support individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, identity exploration, family dynamics, life transitions, grief, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to offer therapy that feels collaborative, respectful, empowering, and grounded in your unique needs..
I look forward to walking alongside you on your path toward healing, growth, resilience, and well-being.
